This is a full size replica of the hybrid chestburster that emerges from fallen Predator, Scar, in the Twentieth Century Fox movie Alien vs. Predator™. The hybrid chestburster, a ghastly creature combining the DNA of both the Predator and Alien race, was born from the Alien seed planted within Scar during an encounter with a facehugger. Master Replicas used the original hybrid chestburster sculpture created by Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr. of Amalgamated Dynamics Inc., as reference to create this authentic prop replica. Every detail of the original hybrid chestburster is exactly replicated and hand painted to accurately represent the hideous creature with the muted coloration of the Predator’s muscular body and four crab-like mandibles along with its Alien traits. The replicas were cast in Polystone, a type of cold cast resin, from molds created of the original Alien vs. Predator™ movie prop provided by ADI.Approximate replica dimensions: 14inch tall x 14inch wide x 14inch deep; product weight, 15 lbs.
