Electric Tiki and Sideshow Collectibles are proud to celebrate one of televisions greatest heroes, Lassie. Lassie has been saving lives for over 50 years, in books, comics, television series, and even feature films. British writer Eric Knight created Lassie for a Saturday Evening Post short story in 1938, a story later released in book form as Lassie Come Home in 1940. In 1954, Lassie made her television debut in the classic American television series. For the next decade, the Lassie series told the story of a dog and her boy, first Tommy, then Timmy. Lassie was a staple of Sunday night television, a true American hero and an icon of traditional family values. Designed and sculpted by Ruben Procopio. Lassie stands approximately 13ī tall atop her base. Each Lassie statue is hand cast in high quality polystone and hand painted to exacting standards. It is packaged in a durable foam interior and a beautiful full color box, and each piece is complete with a hand numbered certificate of authenticity. Donīt miss this chance to add Lassie to your collection, and add this stalwart canine companion to your Classic Heroes Collection!
